Singapore Certificate of Incorporation

In Singapore, a Certificate of Incorporation is a legal document issued by the Singapore Registrar of Companies (ACRA) to certify that the company has been incorporated on a stated date and fulfills all the necessary regulatory requirements. What is informed in the Certificate?

  • Name of the company

  • Registration number/ Unique Entity Number (UEN)

  • Date of incorporation

  • Nature of the entity – private limited or public limited etc.

  • The former names of the company (if applicable)

How to get a Singapore Certificate of Incorporation?

  • Visit the BizFile website at bizfile.gov.sg

  • Select the “Buy Information”

  • Select the option that you find it suitable and proceed

 

Upon successful payment, the electronic version of the certificate can be downloaded from the link provided in the email under “Messages” on the ACRA BizFile+ portal or you can find the link in an email sent to you within 30 minutes.

If you wish to have a hard copy, follow the same process. It will available on the next working day and 24 hours after successful payment for collection at the ACRA reception. You also can request ACRA to post it to your selected address.
